Inserted in organic farming and with an excellent panoramic view from mountain to sea, the house is surrounded by gardens, banana groves and vineyards which produce the famous Madeira Wine.

Vila Afonso (N32,664115 - W16,980100) is located on the southern coast of Madeira, in the Estreito de Câmara de Lobos, a country area which is nicely distanced at 15 minutes from the pleasant city of Funchal and about 30 minutes from the airport.

How do I get to Vila Afonso?
Travelling on the Airport-Ribeira Brava highway, get off at junction 5 (second exit indicating the strait itself), ‘Estreito de Câmara de Lobos/Câmara de Lobos’. From here onwards, travel towards the Estreito de Câmara de Lobos, after which you will find yourself on the João Gonçalves Zarco Highway. Travel along this same road until you find nº 574-B.
